The N25 interchange south of town is where most Midleton learners feel the pressure. Slip roads are short and commuter traffic into Cork moves fast. Hesitate on the merge and you will have a queue behind you before you reach 80km/h.
South of the town, the R630 to Cloyne narrows quickly. Hedgerows crowd the road edge and oncoming traffic appears around blind bends. Rural roads like this are part of the EDT and part of the test.
